MEET WENKE

Mentor, yoga teacher, writer — exploring what it means to live a good life.

my story

For a long time, I thought a good life was something I had to create by getting everything right. By working harder, understanding more, becoming better, healing more. I became very good at looking for the next thing that might finally make life feel the way I thought it should.

Over the years, my own search led me through many different worlds — personal development, healing work, spirituality and, eventually, more deeply into yoga.
I studied, trained, taught and worked with people, while my own understanding of what it means to live well kept changing.

What I know today is much simpler.

A good life is not a life in which everything is resolved. It is a life I am willing to be here for. A life in which I can meet what is here, take responsibility for what is mine, loosen my grip on what isn’t — and keep choosing how I want to live.

This is what my work has grown out of. Not a finished version of me teaching from the other side, but years of studying, practicing, questioning, getting things wrong, beginning again — and becoming increasingly interested in what actually helps us become more free.

Yoga has become an essential part of that path for me. Not simply as a physical practice, but as a way of studying the mind, our conditioning, our relationship to suffering and the deeper question of who we are beneath all of it.

And perhaps that is what sits underneath everything I do today: a belief that we can meet our lives more consciously. That we can take responsibility without trying to control everything. That healing can make us freer rather than endlessly occupied with ourselves.

A GOOD LIFE IS NOT SOMETHING WE ARRIVE AT.
IT IS SOMETHING WE PRACTICE.

MY PHILOSOPHY

I believe a good life begins with the willingness to meet life as it is.

Not everything that happens to us is ours to choose. But how we meet what is here, what we take responsibility for, what we continue to carry and what we are willing to let go of. This is where freedom begins.

To me, healing is not about endlessly fixing ourselves. It is about becoming free enough to participate fully in our own lives. To be present. To love and be loved. To make conscious choices. To remain open to beauty, meaning and the sacred...even when life is difficult.

My approach is rooted in a simple belief: you are the one who has to live your life. I am not here to tell you what that life should look like, or to give you answers that belong to you. My role is to help you see more clearly: the patterns you are caught in, the stories you keep returning to, the moments where you give your power away, and where you have the freedom to choose differently.

Sometimes that happens through conversation. Sometimes through the body, breath or spiritual practice. The form may change, but the intention remains the same: to create enough awareness and space for something different to become possible.

I believe deeply in practice. Insight matters, but what we repeatedly choose, embody and live is what gradually shapes a life.

beyond the work

I’m a mother, wife, student of yoga and someone who has always been deeply curious about what it means to be human. I love travelling, long walks, early mornings, good food, animals — especially my dog Piet — and anything that brings me closer to the sacred.

My life is not separate from my work. It is where I practice everything I teach — imperfectly, sincerely, and one day at a time.

THIS IS THE WORK OF A LIFETIME.

To become more free and awake.
To take responsibility for the life that is ours — and learn to love it while we’re living it.
